I came across a news item in one of the prominent news papers, ' TIMES OF INDIA' which was about the miraculous reversal of age , and also curing him from diabetic , when a 61 year old man received a liver transplant from an young man who died in an accident. I reproduce the news item published, for the readers.
' YOUNG' liver transplant reverses greying process
61 - Year- old man claim to also be diabetes free.
Ahmedabad ( India- 13th July, 2012)
K.G.K. Pillai, 61, Executive Registrar of Mudra Institute of Communication and Advertising, has recently got a three year extension of service. This, after he got a fresh lease of life when a 21 year old youth liver was transplanted in him in 2008.
The liver of the young man, who died in an accident, has miraculously reversed ageing in him, claims Pillai. His hair has turned from grey to black, his wrinkles are gone and he is no longer dependent on diabetes drugs.
Four years after the transplant in Chennai, Pillai says, " I don't just look young. I feel like I have been reborn as a young man." He is happy his complexion has also improved. Pillai thanks Dr.Anand Khakhar, a transplant surgeon from Rajkot who is working in Chennai, for the transformation.
"I used to take medicines for diabetes for 12 years. After the transplant, I am off drugs as my sugar levels are mysteriously under control.", says Pillai, who takes morning walks every day.
Doctors say that the blackening of hair and the renewed energy experienced by Pillai can be attributed to the availability of nutrition in the body as the 61 year-old's liver functions have been normalised.

Now, let us not wonder whether we could also receive some young lad's liver, when he would accidentally die, who also happens to be in the same blood group, and so many other 'ifs' to satisfy the medical requirement. The best possible way, could be to find out to rejuvenate our own liver to achieve this goal.
1. Vitamin C: Vitamin C is great for liver health. Earlier studies have shown large quantities of vitamin C flush out fats and repair liver damage.
2. B complex: All the Bs are helpful, especially B12, which has been used to help hepatitis patients. But you need the right type of B12 administered the right way separately from other B supplements.
